Inspired by the work of Jean-Pierre Brisset, a stationmaster and mad grammarian of the last century, who devised a theory of language holding us to be the offspring of batrachians, Dieu grammairien attempts to enact the birth of speech while summoning a primordial world. A man ponders the question of origins. A kind of wild child, an Adam wading through the mud, at the dawn of an as-yet inarticulate world.
